How to compare your heights
Enter both partners' measured heights, using centimeters or feet plus additional inches independently. Press Compare our heights to update the figures and exact numerical gap. Names and colors are optional. The result is a height comparison, not a compatibility test or an ideal-height recommendation.
The calculation
For metric inputs, subtract the shorter height from the taller height. For feet and inches, convert feet into inches, add the remaining inches, then multiply by 2.54 to get centimeters. Difference = absolute value of height 1 minus height 2. For example, 160 cm and 178 cm differ by 18 cm, approximately 7.09 inches.
Read the visual correctly
Both figures stand on the same ground line and use the same scale. Their displayed top-to-ground heights follow your inputs. The silhouettes are stylized: shoulder, eye and arm positions do not measure your actual body proportions. A chart cannot tell you exactly where someone's eyes or chin would reach.
Measure consistently
For a barefoot comparison, measure both people on a flat floor without shoes. Keep posture and measurement method consistent. If you intentionally enter heights with shoes, label that choice when sharing. Small differences may reflect measurement uncertainty rather than a meaningful change.
Keep a personal card
Download PNG creates a locally generated card with the displayed names and heights. Check those details before sharing. Copy result puts the numbers in text form, and Print uses your browser's print dialog. No account or external image service is needed.
Frequently asked questions
Can we use different units?
Yes. Each partner can use centimeters or feet and inches.
Does height predict compatibility?
No. The result measures a numerical difference only.
Are the silhouettes exact body shapes?
No. Overall heights share one scale, but body shapes are illustrative.
Do names leave my device?
No. This tool processes inputs and generates downloads in your browser.
